Welcome to St Just Primary School!
As I begin my role as headteacher of both St Just Primary and Cape Cornwall School, I am incredibly excited about the future – it is a real privilege to work across two schools, which may well mean supporting the children of St Just from when they join in early years to when they sit GCSEs at age 16. What an adventure it will be!

In the short time I have been in role, I can see how proud staff and children are of our school and how important the partnership with our pupils, parents and the local community is in terms of the benefit it brings to all our children.
I can promise you a team of dedicated teaching and support staff who are welcoming and approachable - every child is known and cared for as an individual from the moment they enter the school gates.
At St Just Primary, we provide each pupil with the opportunity to become a life-long learner by nurturing pupils' individuality and creativity We guide pupils' learning and challenge each and every one of them to think independently and we encourage our parents to be part of that process.
As in any school, good communication is vital. We will always make sure someone is available to speak to if you have any concerns or anxieties. This can be in person, by phone or by using our Parentmail app.
With a consistent number on roll of around 180 pupils aged between 4 years and 11 years, we are organised into 7 classes, one class for each year group. Our classes vary in number reflecting the admission of local children to their local school.
