READING AT HOME
We encourage our children to read every night at home if they can. We know sometimes this can be a struggle, but even 5 minutes a day helps the retention of sounds and words.
Our books will be changed on a Monday and a Thursday in year 3. Please try and remember to have books in school, especially on those days.
After lunch we do 20 minutes reading every day. Myself, Mrs Denley and Mr Matthews will endeavour to hear as many readers as we can throughout the week. Please make sure reading books are readily available in school.
Our reading area in our class is stocked with some AMAZING reading books. Have you seent he 50 recommended reads for year 3? Our class library has quite a number of these books! How many can you read?
