We had a great morning at The Jackson Foundation in St Just to link with our half term artist Chidi Okoye.
We spent the morning comparing Kurt Jackson's latest exhibition with the style of Chidi Okoye. We really enjoyed our morning thanks to Rachel who led our session. We hope you enjoy some of the art work we produced. A massive thank you to the Jackson Foundation for letting us once again use their amazing space for our art lesson.
For part of our Geography learning this half term we took a trip to St Michaels Mount to look at human and physical features of the area.
We had a great day exploring the bottom of the island where the shops and residents live. We had a treasure hunt to find lots of different pictures and then sort these into physical and human features.
The children had an amazing day showing off their knowledge.
We acted out the story of Jack and the giant and look forward to finding the giants heart on our next trip.
A massive thanks to Jen and Alix for running the activities and making our day extra special. A great big thanks for the hot chocolate it was a great hit. We are already looking forward to our trip in the summer when we will be able to explore the castle and take a ride on one of the boats.
